Two Cats Killed In Columbia House Fire

Two cats died in a fire at a fire at a Columbia home Monday morning, the Howard County Fire and Rescue Services reported.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out a Monday morning house fire in Columbia before it could spread. Two pets were found dead in the home, the fire department said.

COLUMBIA, MD — Two cats died Monday morning in a fire that broke out at a home in the 11000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, officials reported.

Firefighters with the Howard County Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the home around 9 a.m. to find a fire in the basement. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly before it could spread.

There were no injuries to firefighters or residents reported, but two cats were found dead in the home, the fire department reported.
