ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Anne Arundel County has a total of 50,169 positive new coronavirus cases and 712 deaths, according to the Anne Arundel County Health Department. The state has 528,764 confirmed cases and 10,166 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.
The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Anne Arundel County as of Sept. 27:
- Pasadena (21122) has 5,403 total cases.
- Glen Burnie (21061) has 5,216 total cases.
- Glen Burnie (21060) has 3,407 total cases.
- Annapolis (21401) has 3,045 total cases.
- Severn (21144) has 2,939 total cases.
- Annapolis (21403) has 2,813 total cases.
- Odenton (21113) has 2,379 total cases.
- Severna Park (21146) has 1,856 total cases.
- Laurel (20724) has 1,753 total cases.
- Crofton (21114) has 1,649 total cases.

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If this is not available, use hand sanitizer that is at least 60 percent alcohol.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Keep 6 feet of space between people.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
