Anne Arundel Delegation Sets Common Core Public Hearing

Anne Arundel County residents who are interested in learning more about the Common Core curriculum will have their chance in January.

The Anne Arundel County Delegation of the Maryland General Assembly wants to hear what you think at a public hearing scheduled for Jan. 28, 2013. 

Henry Johnson, a representative of the Maryland State Department of Education, will give a presentation on Common Core to the delegation and Anne Arundel County Public School interim superintendent Mamie Perkins. The public is welcome to attend and give comment following the presentation.

The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Jan. 28 and will be held in the Join Hearing Room in the Legislative Services Building, 90 State Cir., Annapolis. Parking is free after 6 p.m. at the Bladen Street Garage at the intersection of Calvert and St. John’s Streets.
