Anne Arundel County police responded early Monday morning to a report of an armed robbery at the BP gas station at the 700 block of Route 3 North.
Police said the robbery happened at about 2:40 a.m. when a masked man entered the store with a small black pistol and demanded cash. The store clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and ran away. Police searched the area but could not find the suspect.
No one was hurt in the incident.
