Mom, You Deserve This: Prioritizing Your Health Isn't Selfish

Prioritize your health ladies of Crofton, MD!

When you wake up and start thinking about your day—before that first sip of coffee even hits—you’re already running through the mental checklist. Did I pack Johnny’s lunch? Sally has dance after school. Did Jenny finish her homework? We’re out of bread—I need to add that to the list.

Mamas, I’m here to tell you: the mental load does not have to run our lives.

You have permission to take care of yourself. Prioritize your health! Your health is not a luxury—it’s a priority.

My name is Mandy, and I’ve been in the thick of it. I’m a mom of five—three birth children and two step-twins. I’ve restarted my postpartum recovery three times, had two C-sections, and breastfed each of my babies for a year. I’ve been the full-time working mom, the stay-at-home mom, the mom in school, the single mom, the co-parenting mom, and the stepmom. I know the chaos of family life from all angles.

But through it all, one thing I never let go of was my health. I learned firsthand that making myself a priority wasn’t selfish—it was necessary. And after losing over 50 pounds postpartum and getting into the best shape of my life as a mom, I knew I had to share what I’ve learned.

So I’ve pivoted my career to do just that. I’ve been searching for ways to help other moms because I know it’s possible. I am living proof.

Let’s be real: the to-do list isn’t going anywhere. As long as we have little humans to raise, there will always be something that needs to get done. But that doesn’t mean you have to get lost in it.

I’m here to show you that you can make fitness and nutrition a priority—without sacrificing your family, your sanity, or your budget. Tracking macros and eating well doesn’t have to be overwhelming (or boring!). And if you’re on a budget? Don’t worry, I’ve got you. As an avid Aldi shopper, I create healthy, macro-friendly meals straight from my Aldi pickup orders—because who really has time to shop in-store with kids in tow?

Let me guide you in training your mind and body toward a healthier lifestyle—because we deserve to feel our best. You deserve to feel strong, energized, and in control of your health.
