Smashed Windows, Slashed Tires Plague Crofton Area

Police say they have seen acts of vandalism on at least seven streets in the Crofton and Gambrills area.

Local police are warning residents of a string of incidents in which criminals have smashed windows or slashed tires in the Crofton and Gambrills area. 

Anne Arundel County police said that in recent weeks, they have responded to a number of incidents on at least seven streets. In several cases, windows have been smashed in with rocks or landscaping bricks. In other cases, suspects have slashed car tires or smashed side view mirrors. 

Police said the incidents have happened over a wide area, including on these streets:

  • Cambridge Drive
  • Foxdale Court
