The South River High boys lacrosse team took another step toward a state title Wednesday, winning the Class 3A/4A East regional crown.  The Seahawks beat Chesapeake 10-3 in the regional final. The team will next play Howard High School for a shot at the state title game.  The South River girls lacrosse team fell short of advancing in the playoffs, losing 14-13 to Broadneck.  Arundel Baseball Falls to North County The Arundel Wildcats' dream of another regional baseball championship ended in extra innings Wednesday.  Arundel fell 6-5 in 10 innings to North County in the regional semifinals of the MPSSAA Class 4A baseball tournament.  North County will next host the regional championship game against South River, which won 4-0 Wednesday over Broadneck.
