Sykesville Business Roundup: Cowboys, Angels, Chocolate and Restored Furniture
Sykesville welcomes a number of new businesses to Main Street.

Cowboys & Angels, 7552 Main Street, Sykesville, 410-800-8548
Cowboys & Angels opened in May and offers a little bit of everything. Owner Ann Kennedy describes the shop as full of clothes, home décor and gifts and jewelry, some which is made by her daughter.
“We are a Southwest savvy-chic boutique.” Kennedy said. “We even offer gently worn cowboy boots which have been a hit! Often people don’t like to pay $300 for a pair of boots that they will only wear on special occasions, so ours are a perfect alternative.”

Sue Moore and her business partner, Mary Vaccarino created the shop to sell furniture and home décor. The store also specializes in finishing and restoring old furniture. Beyond the home furnishings, Revive & Company has also coupled with a number of local artisans who can help design custom art, drawings or even murals.
“We’d love for everyone to come check us out,” Moore said. “Main Street itself is in the middle of a revival of its own and it’s a wonderful destination. We feel like we are the latest local shop for all gift-giving needs.”
Friday, Aug. 9, during the Tunes Under the Main Street Moon, artists will be working right in front of the shop for customers to meet.
