The Job Fair is being sponsored by the WM Partnership. Students from all CCPS high schools, the Career and Technology Center, and trades students from Carroll Community College, along with students from Gerstell Academy, Silver Oak Academy, and Springdale Preparatory School, will be invited to attend.
Participating businesses will save time with recruitment, have face-to-face interaction and networking opportunities with job candidates, and may participate in on-site interviews. Businesses interested in having a table at the event are encouraged to register at Carroll County Job Fair – Maryland Print House as soon as possible. Nearly 50 businesses have registered as of February 24th.
According to Bobbi Hollingsworth, Career Connections Coordinator at Winters Mill High School, “The job fair will focus on graduating seniors and alumni in the county who are not college bound. Due to the pandemic, opportunities such as this job fair have been very limited over the past two years. We feel that this is very important to the future success of our students and graduates and are very happy that we can help by sponsoring this event.”
