County Employees Recognized for Service, Longevity

Four employees were recognized for 40 years of service each at Carroll County's Employee Appreciation Day.

Carroll County honored 149 of its employees for their service to residents on Wednesday, the county's annual Employee Appreciation Day.  Among them, the employees have worked more than 2,000 years, according to county officials.

As part of Employee Appreciation Day, county employees, as well as staff at the State’s Attorney’s Office, the detention center, the courts and the Sherriff’s office, were given a free lunch and honored at an employee recognition ceremony.

In the spotlight at the ceremony were county employees Richard Krebs, Kendall Stoner, Gene Warrenfeltz and Max Kuznik. Each have worked for the county for 40 years, according to a statement released by the county.  Kuznik has worked in roads operations and the others in engineering.
