Columbia Turns 46, River Hill Health Fair and More in HoCo this Weekend

- When: Saturday, June 22, 11 a.m.
- Description: The Coalition Halting Obesity in Children Everywhere (CHOICE) and the River Hill Community Assn. are hosting this health fair that will include health and wellness awareness information, obesity prevention tips, BMI and blood pressure screenings, bone density screenings, vision and dental screenings, games for kids, demonstrations, and a moon bounce. This event is free.

- When: Friday, June 21, 5:30 -8:30 p.m.
- Description: Columbia residents are invited to enjoy music, dancing, art show, magic show, kids’ activities and complimentary cupcakes and a movie.
- Cost: Free
Rhythmic Circus - Feet Don't Fail Me Now!
- Where: 5460 Trumpeter Road Columbia
- When: Friday, June 21, 8 p.m.
- Description: Rhythmic Circus, the percussive dance team performs along with their seven-piece band, vocalists, and a one man cappella beat-boxing mix.
- Cost: $30-45
- Where: Hopewell Mini-Water Park, 9200 Rustling Leaf, Columbia
- When: Saturday, June 22, 3 p.m.
- Description: All are welcome to attend a themed afternoon designed for the young and young at heart, with family-friendly fun that also includes a live disc jockey, a balloon sculptor, a moon bounce and much more. Hopewell Mini-Water Park features a giant 18-foot-high water slide; a unique splash pad with dumping buckets, squirting features and interactive spray equipment; a wading pool; an eight-lane swimming pool with a diving board; and shade structures. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

- When: Sunday, June 23, 8 a.m.
- Description: Art lovers from the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan areas and surrounding states are invited to watch the ManneqArt Hair and Makeup Competition unfold at Historic Savage Mill on Sunday June 23, 2013. This event is an exciting new addition to the Columbia Festival of the Arts and is part of the larger 2013 ManneqArt Competition which is attracting wearable arts designers from all over the country.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company

- When: Saturday, June 22, 8 p.m.
- Description: “Bad Boys of Abridgement” take the audience on a 90-minute roller coaster ride through a compact compendium of the world’s great books, zipping through everything from “The Odyssey” to Harry Potter.

- Description: BBQ and the blues of The Eric Byrd Trio.

First Place Singles lunch and bowling

- When: Sunday, June 23, 1 p.m.
