Authentic Irish Dinner, Dance Ushers In St. Patrick's Day At Elkridge Furnace Inn In HoCo

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Elkridge Furnace Inn will host two St. Patrick's Day events. On March 17 at 6:30 p.m., an Irish whiskey dinner will be served with five courses including sauteed trout, a ballotine of pheasant, Irish salad, cocoa and coffee rubbed lamb, and a salted caramel creme patissiere.

On March 20 at 4 p.m., an authentic Irish coursed dinner and dance will be offered. The entertainment will be provided by the Teelin Dance Company. The Teelin School of Irish Dance offers classes for students from age 4 through any age adult.

All Elkridge Furnace Inn gardens used for menu items are fully organic and all vegetables are of an heirloom variety. There's even a mushroom house. Local farms provide other menu items for the inn including Myrtle Woods Farms for produce, wild edibles and eggs; Copper Penny Farms for specialty meats; and Greg’s Eggs for eggs.
