Timbers at Troy in Elkridge Will Begin Renovations
The 6,652-yard golf course will begin renovations starting Oct. 17.
From Timbers at Troy:
The Timbers at Troy golf course, which opened in 1996 under the Department of Recreation and Parks and is managed by Kemper Sports Management, will begin a four-month renovation project today, Oct. 17, dedicated to replacing the bunkers and irrigation system. During this time, nine holes of the course will remain open for play.
The repairs to the bunkers are needed due to normal wear and tear. The new irrigation system will allow Timbers at Troy to better manage and conserve the golf course's water use. The project will cost approximately $2 million.
