BÖRO Kabob Opens 2nd Howard County Location

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Colorful dishes bursting with richly flavorful Persian fare have been served up at BÖRO Kabob in Columbia since its opening. Now, Howard County residents can enjoy their favorite Persian meal at the restaurant's new Ellicott City site.

BÖRO Kabob officially opened its doors in Columbia in opened in 2022 and at its second Howard County location Nov. 16. The eatery's menu includes such items as kabobs, saffron basmati rice, shawarma, fries, stew, grilled veggies, mazeh, sandwiches, salads and soups.

The kabobs come with a variety of dips including labneh, baba ghanoush, hummus, a smoked eggplant dish called mirza ghasemi, another eggplant dish called kashk bademjan, a yogurt-cucumber spread and other options.

Featured desserts include Dubai chocolate cake, mousses, cheesecakes, palmiers and different versions of baklava.

Ray Sinanian, Böro Kabob’s Iranian-born co-owner and manager, also co-owns Nora’s Kabobs, which has locations in Ellicott City and Columbia, too, but serves up Mediterranean dishes and not Persian food.

BÖRO Kabob offers dine-in, carry-out, delivery and catering. The Columbia location can be found at 9350 Snowden River Parkway and the Ellicott City site is located at 9065 Frederick Road.
