Detour In Place As Daisy Road Bridge North of Woodbine Closes Soon For Repairs
The Daisy Road bridge north of Woodbine will be closing soon for repairs. A detour will be put in place, officials said.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A construction project to replace the Daisy Road bridge over Little Cattail Creek, located just north of 3635 Daisy Road in Woodbine, should start June 12, weather permitting.
The existing bridge will be replaced with a new concrete bridge and the roadway approach to the bridge will be raised to improve sight distance of oncoming vehicles and stream flow under the bridge.
Weather permitting, the project should be completed by early April 2025, according to county officials.
