Granville Road Stormwater Pond Project Underway
The county has started working on a stormwater pond project along Granville Road, which shouldn't affect traffic, leaders say.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A construction project to repair the Cedar Acres Stormwater Pond located between 8325 and 8328 Granville Road in Jessup has started. Traffic shouldn't be impacted, county officials said.
The project will include the replacement of the principal spillway barrel and outlet structure with a reinforced concrete spillway barrel and outlet structure. Weather permitting, the project should wrap up by late March 2025.
Signs will be posted in the project area to notify residents and drivers about the construction, which will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
