Lorien Assisted Living Recognized with Two Awards in 2024 Daily Record Reader Rankings

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – September XX, 2024 – Lorien Assisted Living, a family-owned assisted living company based in Maryland, has won awards in two different categories of the Daily Record’s 2024 Reader Rankings Survey.

Lorien won for “Best Assisted Living” and “Best Retirement Community” as part of the Daily Record’s 2024 Reader Rankings. This was the sixth consecutive year Lorien has been included in the Reader Rankings survey.

Recognition for Best Assisted Living Facility/Group comes after Lorien Health Services rebranded its assisted living services as a reflection of its renewed focus on this part of the company’s service offerings. The Lorien name has historically been associated with nursing homes in Maryland even though its first assisted living community was opened in 1983.

The Daily Record Reader Rankings celebrates and recognizes the best the Maryland community has to offer through a nomination round, a voting round and an annual celebration revealing the top winners. Each category in the survey was made up of five entrants that were narrowed down to the top three and then the ‘Top Winner’, which will be announced in October.
