Teen Carjacked + Boys Assaulted + Business Burglarized + Man Assaulted During Sale: Howard Co. Police
A 17-year-old told police he was carjacked and a group of teen boys told police they were assaulted and robbed of cash, according to police.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A 17-year-old boy reported being carjacked in Columbia and a group of teenage boys told police they were assaulted and robbed in Ellicott City, according to Howard County Police.
On Dec. 30 around 10:30 p.m., a 17-year-old boy sitting in his vehicle in the 10200 block of Greek Boy Place in Columbia told police that two men approached him, pulled him out of his vehicle and then drove off in his 2007 gray Acura TL, tags VA/ SZF1987. No one was injured.
On Dec. 31 around 6:15 p.m., a store employee at the Giant located in the 6000 block of Marshalee Drive, Elkridge, told police that when she confronted a woman who she believed had stole merchandise, a woman with the suspect pulled out a gun. Both women took off in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

On Jan. 2 around 5:30 p.m., a man reported that he had arranged online to sell a jacket and made plans to meet with the buyer in the 8700 block of Cloudleap Court in Columbia. However, two men showed up, assaulted the victim, displayed a knife, stole the jacket and took off. No serious injuries were reported.
On Jan. 3 between 5 and 6 a.m., a suspect broke a window and entered the gym inside Paragon at Columbia Overlook Apartments, located in the 8100 block of Robinson Jefferson Drive, Elkridge. The suspect stole an iPad.

On Jan. 5 around 7:05 p.m., a group of teen boys told police they were approached by two men who assaulted them and stole their cash. No one was injured.
