CCBC Essex: Victory for Men's Lacrosse; Baseball Splits Doubleheader

Here's a roundup of Sunday's athletic results for the Essex campus of The Community College of Baltimore County:

Men’s Lacrosse

Brookdale @ CCBC Essex

The Knights defeated visiting Brookdale 17-6. The Knights are now 3-1 and are ranked No. 2 in the polls behind Onondaga. The team will be at home on Wednesday, March 20, against rival CCBC Catonsville. This will be the second game of a doubleheader as the Lady Knights also host CCBC Catonsville at 4:30 p.m.

Baseball

Sullivan County @ CCBC Essex (doubleheader)

The Knights finally broke their 13-game winless streak by defeating visiting Sullivan County in the first game of a doubleheader 5-4. In the second game, Sullivan County defeated Essex 6-2.
