From Lockheed Martin:
Lockheed Martin will provide information on the feasibility study it conducted to evaluatealternatives for cleaning up sediments in Cow Pen Creek, Dark Head Cove and Dark Head Creek adjacent to the Lockheed Martin Middle River Complex. It will present its recommended alternative and details on why this alternative is best. Lockheed Martin submitted its feasibility study to Maryland Department of the Environment and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in December 2012. Lockheed Martin engaged interested community members in a Sediments Working Group in early 2012, and it will gather additional input from the community during this public session and during an ensuing public comment period that will extend from Feb. 28 to March 28, 2013.
