Fallston BB&T Bank Robbed Wednesday, Suspect Sought

A robber pulled a weapon at the BB&T Bank on Baldwin Mill Road Wednesday afternoon, police said.

An armed man robbed a Fallston bank Wednesday afternoon, and police are asking for the community's help in tracking him down.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. a man walked into the BB&T Bank located at 2401 Baldwin Mill Road in Fallston, pulled a weapon and demanded money, according to the desk officer with Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack.

Police did not specify what kind of weapon was involved.

The robber took an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the building and climbed into a dark gray four-door car, police said.

The suspect's car was last seen heading north on Baldwin Mill Road toward Jarrettsville, according to state police.

The robber is described as a white man with pale complexion and a small build. He was about 5-foot-8 wearing a red, plaid shirt, black sunglasses, a dark baseball cap and dark jeans, the officer said.

A BB&T Bank in the 1900 block of Belair Road in Fallston has been the target of several bank robberies within the past three years.
