Update: Greenbelt Man Injured in Armed Robbery Thursday

An assault victim was taken to the hospital, after two masked men bearing handguns robbed him in Greenbelt, MD, on Thursday, according to police.

Update, May 19 at 2:55 p.m.: A Greenbelt man was taken to the hospital for his injuries, after he was robbed and assaulted by two armed men on the 7900 block of Good Luck Road on Thursday, according to Officer Kelly Lawson with the Greenbelt Police.

Lawson said that the victim was not, however, admitted to the hospital.

Original Post, May 18, 2:21 p.m.: Two masked men armed with handguns assaulted and robbed a male on on the 7900 block of Good Luck Road in Greenbelt, MD, Thursday at 1:43 a.m., according to Greenbelt Police.

The victim was harmed, according to Officer Kelly Lawson with the Greenbelt Police Department.

The suspects also stole currency from the victim, according to Lawson.
