PTA Meetings, Back to School Nights to be Held Tuesday

Springhill Lake Elementary School and Greenbelt Elementary School are heading straight back to business after the holiday weekend with meetings tonight.

Springhill Lake is hosting its Back to School event tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be tables set up in the cafeteria offering parents information on school and community programs. Parents will also have the opportunity to meet with their child's teacher and tour classrooms. There will be five classrooms with Spanish interpreters available for parents who would like the presentation in Spanish.

The first Parent Teacher Association meeting for Greenbelt Elementary will take place in the school's media center at 7 p.m. tonight. Teachers will inform parents of plans for the coming year with a preview of events and fundraisers.
