Raiders defeat Spartans, 36-0
Saturday afternoon, the Roosevelt Raiders beat the Laurel Spartans away
In front of a crowd of more than 400, the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Raiders continued their two-week winning streak with a 36-0 win over the Laurel High School Spartans.
Despite the away win, Roosevelt coaches thought there were a lot of mental errors that turned into too many turnovers.
"We need to win games earlier," defensive back coach Chris Riley said. He did compliment the players saying that overall they were more physical today than last week and that was an improvement.

Head coach Tom Green agreed saying that the team came out and played hard the whole game, but the few fumbles that happened, could've cost them the whole game.
He said with the next game against High Point, he expects them to play hard and come out with a win.
