Arts By The Bay Gallery at 307 St. John Street in Havre De Grace, Maryland is excited to present a continuing workshop Knitting Circle with Jean Baker-Priebe. Jean is a very talented knitter and is excited about sharing her knitting knowledge. During this workshop Jean will help you with any questions you have regarding your knitting project whether a beginner or seasoned knitter. Please contact the gallery at 410-939-1818 to secure your space in this workshop. There is a suggested $10 donation. The workshop begins at 2 PM and ends at 4 pm on Sunday, January 18, Sunday, February 1, and Sunday, March 1 (more dates TBD).

The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing miss the excitement of the old days when they were saving convents and reuniting long-lost families. So when they learn that the orphanage where Paul and Kate grew up is in peril, they can’t wait to come to the rescue. Everyone pitches in to mount a play to raise money, but it’s no easy feat when Kate’s expecting any day, Sally’s hiding from stage-fright-stricken Paul after another flight from the altar, Mother Superior’s acting is unexpectedly narcoleptic, and the sisters’ award-winning wine keeps getting switched with the grape juice. The merry mix-ups multiply in this warm and winsome sequel to Drinking Habits.

BEATLES, ZEPPELIN, DOORS by Magical Mystery Doors is a tribute act that blends and layers the music of three legendary bands to create something new and unique for music fans everywhere.
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors. These three iconic groups have changed the face of music as we know it. Their songs have become part of our history. Their melodies have moved people everywhere to “Come Together” in their love of music. Patrons attending a Magical Mystery Doors performance can expect to hear timeless tunes from each of these historic bands over the course of the night. The songs you know, the songs you love, the songs you sing at the top of your lungs!
Throughout the show, the band combines some of these classic compositions in ways that surprise and delight audiences time and time again. The melody from The Doors’ “Hello, I Love You” laying atop Led Zeppelin’s “Misty Mountain Hop.” The pounding beat of Zep’s “When The Levee Breaks” coupled with the serene strumming of The Beatles’ “Dear Prudence.” The thematic sequence of The Rain Song – Riders On The Storm – Here Comes The Sun. These rare arrangements take crowds on an unexpected and exhilarating journey “Over The Hills And Far Away.”
MMD also enhances the audience experience with a captivating visual presentation. Modern video screens and a stunning array of lighting allow this act to create an environment where the music comes to life. Fans young and old can “Break On Through” their daily distractions in this immersive and mesmerizing show. Come take a step through the “Magical Mystery Doors” for a night you won’t soon forget!

After earning her Musical Theatre degree during the pandemic and working professionally in our post-COVID audition climate, Kiley has gained extensive experience filming self-tapes—and she is thrilled to share it with you at this exciting workshop!
Whether you’re brand-new to self-taping or looking to refine your current approach, join us and start booking from your best self-tapes yet!
Instructor Bio: Kiley Ernest is a Harford County native who grew up performing with Bel Air High School’s drama department and community groups, including Phoenix Festival Theatre and Tidewater Teens. She went on to earn her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with a minor in Arts &amp; Entertainment Industries Management from Rider University in 2022. During her time there, standout experiences included playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret under the direction of Broadway’s T. Oliver Reid and working as a Marketing &amp; Media Intern at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
After graduation, Kiley returned to Maryland and worked as a Marketing Coordinator for both the STAR Centre and the Havre de Grace Opera House. She was honored to assistant direct “Annie Get Your Gun” with local youth theatre Starlight Theatricals! Kiley has since continued her career as a professional actor, with favorite regional credits including Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts and Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show at Iron Crow Theatre.
