$425M: What Would You Do With A Powerball Jackpot?
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Aug. 7.
After a long string of drawings without a winner, the Powerball jackpot has been raised to $425 million; making it the fourth-largest U.S. jackpot , Maryland Lottery officials announced Monday.
The prize has a $244.7 million cash option. The next drawing will be held Wednesday.

"[The jackpot] is not expected to go up again before tomorrow night's drawing," said lottery spokeswoman Erica Palmisano in an email.
The Maryland Lottery is one of 45 lotteries nationwide that participate in the Powerball drawing.
