Today In Hunt Valley: It's Finally Nice Out, Laser Tag Deal, Shooting Discussion

All you need to know to get you through this Thursday.

It's Thursday, July 25. Here's all you need to know.

Weather: It's been quite a while, but finally the high temperature Thursday looks to be under 80 degrees. This Accuweather forecast shows a high of 78 and a low of, get this, 63 degrees. Friday looks to be similarly nice, but humidty and rain return for the weekend.

What You're Saying: Over on the story about police identifying the officer involved in a fatal Cockeysville shooting over the weekend, Patch users Gloria Swanson and Connor are voicing their opinions in a civilized debate.

"I can't understand why an officer has the 'shoot to kill' mentality when a shot in the leg or arm might have made him/her stop in their tracks," Swanson wrote.

"I understand your frustration," Connor wrote. " If an officer purposely shoots someone in the leg or any where other than center mass, it is considered maiming and the officer can be charged with that. They should never shoot to maim, but shoot to stop."
