9 Kids, 2 Adults Hurt As Vehicle Hits Tent In Prince George's County, Officials Say

Authorities said a girl and an infant were critically injured, and the others were seriously injured.

BLADENSBURG, MD — Eleven people, including nine children, were injured Saturday night when a vehicle hit a tent in Bladensburg, authorities said.

The Prince George's County Fire and EMS said one girl and an infant were critically injured in the incident that was reported at 10:13 p.m. on the 4100 block of 55th Avenue.

There was no description of the car or additional information on the circumstances.

In addition to the two critically injured children, there were four boys and three girls along with two women injured.

Authorities said those nine victims had serious injuries but they were not believed to be life=threatening.
