The Hyattsville City Council met last night to kick off the FY 2013 budget negotiations. Prior to the regular session, city leaders gathered for a public meeting about infrastructure improvements in the area of Banner, Buchanan and Crittenden streets and 40th Avenue.

The infrastructure improvements meeting began at 7 p.m. at the in the second floor Prangley Room. The City Council meeting began at 8 p.m. in the third floor council chambers.
