Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder in Bladensburg Shooting
Police say suspect fired twice, hit once, in potentially deadly November nightclub fight.

Prince George's Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with a November shooting outside of a Bladensburg nightclub which left one man wounded.
Deputies working in the Domestic Violence Intervention Division arrested Timothy Harris earlier today without incident. Harris is charged with first degree attempted murder.
Prince George's County Police say they received a call of a shooting outside the Wisdom Banquet Hall on 5401 Annapolis Road on Nov. 26, 2011 at about 5:14 a.m. According to police, an argument which started inside the hall led to a fight outside after the hall had closed down. Sometime during the altercation, police say Harris pulled out a handgun and fired two shots at the victim, striking him once in the lower abdomen.
Corporal Henry Tippett, a public information officer with the Prince George's County Police Department said that at the time of the shooting the victim was expected to make a full recovery.
Harris was arrested by deputies responding to an emergency domestic violence call in the 5500 block of Lee Jay Drive in Temple Hills.
Harris is currently behind bars at the Prince George's County Department of Corrections.
