Montgomery County Department Of Police: Detectives Investigate Rockville Commercial Burglary

Germantown, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section are investigating the January 12, 2022 commercial burglary in Rockville. Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

On January 13 at approximately 8:24 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the 9600 block of Blackwell Road for the report of a commercial burglary that occurred earlier.

Investigation revealed that on January 12 at approximately 1:30 p.m. an unknown Black male suspect gained entry into the commercial establishment. Once inside, the suspect made entry into the victim’s office and stole property. The suspect then entered an additional office, where he stole additional property. The suspect was then seen on video surveillance, trying multiple doorknobs throughout the commercial establishment in an attempt to gain entry. The suspect successfully made entry into an additional office prior to fleeing the establishment in a white SUV-style vehicle that was parked in front of the building.
