Christmas Food Basket Program Needs Support for Local Families
Help provide food to Prince George's County neighbors in need during the holiday season.

Providing local families with Christmas food baskets over the past three decades would not have been possible without the kindness of many people.
Through generous donations, over 3,000 families in the Prince Georgeβs County Public Safety Assistance Program received Christmas food baskets last year. With limited resources, it appears that only half of that that amount of people will be given baskets this year.
As the program enters its 30th year, the lack of funds is causing Prince Georgeβs County families to be turned away.

In order to help as many people as possible, Prince Georgeβs Countyβs Public Safety Agencies, the Office of the County Executive, and the Office of Homeland Security are asking for donations.
One hundred percent of donations go to the program and the baskets will be assembled Dec. 11-22.
