The ready-to-paint ceramic bowls have been created by Marriotts Ridge High School students. The soups are made by students participating in the Marriotts Ridge High School Culinary Arts program. All of the proceeds from the event go to Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis intervention center and shelter for the homeless.

The National Art Honor Society was founded by the National Art Education Association to inspire and recognize students with an outstanding ability in art and to bring art education to the attention of the school and the community.
