Laurel Police Find Rooster in Woman's Backpack
His name is Mr. Jiggles, the suspect told officers.

When Laurel police officers arrested a woman last week for allegedly stealing food, they found something surprising in her backpack: a live rooster.
According to the LPD, a 32-year-old Capitol Heights resident was taken into custody Tuesday on an open warrant and theft charges. She had reportedly stolen food from the Fairfield Inn at 13700 Baltimore Ave.
As officers searched through the woman's belongings, they discovered the rooster in her book bag.
