The following is a rundown of notable arrests and police responses in the City of Laurel from June 30 to July 6, 2013. Incident details from the Laurel Police Department are listed where available. Arrests do not necessarily indicate convictions.
Sunday, June 30
- BURGLARY | 500 MAIN ST: Officers responded for an alarm at the Quick Stop Market. Officers observed that the front glass door had been broken out. Howard County K9 conducted a track but the suspect was not able to be located. An Evidence Technician processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing. - CDS PARAPHELNIA ARREST | UNIT BLOCK OF SECOND ST: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. A K-9 scan of the vehicle revealed CDS paraphelnia inside the vehicle. A 24-year-old male passenger was arrested.
- TRESPASSING ARREST | 600 BLOCK OF LAFAYETTE AVE: Officers made contact with two subjects loitering on the train tracks. Two subjects, 19 and 35 years old, were arrested for trespassing.Β
- WARRANT ARREST | 13600 BLOCK OF BALTIMORE AVE: Officers made contact with a subject loitering in the area around closed businesses. The 24-year-old subject was found to have an open warrant for false statement and was arrested.
