Residences at Vantage Point Hosts Talk on Happiness by Tara Hart

Howard Community College professor and poet shares timeless lessons and contemporary research about what makes us happy in program Oct. 10

Residences at Vantage Point Arts & Culture Collective will continue its recent focus on memoir and life stories in its Fall 2023 series. The next program features professor and poet Tara Hart in a presentation, “Finding Happiness.” Hart will share timeless lessons and contemporary research about what makes us happy on Oct. 10, 7-8 p.m., in the retirement community’s auditorium.

Hart is Professor and Chair of English, Arts & Humanities and Coordinator of Creative Writing at Howard Community College and is Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of HoCoPoLitSo.

Tuesday, Oct. 10, 7-8 p.m.: “A Presentation on Happiness” includes professor and poet Tara Hart’s sharing timeless lessons and contemporary research about what makes us happy.

Tuesday, Oct. 24, 7-8 p.m.: “An Art Talk and Reminiscence” by retired Army Colonel Al Biegel concludes the series. Biegel, a Holocaust survivor and painter for the past 60 years, will discuss how art impacted a soldier’s life.
