North Baltimore Crime: Burglars Prying Open Locked Doors
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Attempted Burglary: 200 block of East Lake Avenue, 7:30 p.m., Aug. 23. Burglar damaged a rear lock attempting to break in.
Burglary Residential: 200 block of East Lake Avenue, between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Aug. 24. A burglar forced open the rear door and stole Sterling Silver spoons, forks and a water pitcher.

Burglary Commercial: 2500 block of Charles Street, 10:05 a.m., Aug. 19. The burglar entered Treatment Resources through the basement and stole a 32-inch Hitachi television.

Burglary Garage: 100 block of Hawthorne Road, 3:40 p.m., Aug. 19. The burglars kicked in the door but were scared off before they could steal anything.
Burglary Residential: 3000 block Keswick Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:05 p.m., Aug. 21. A burglar entered through a front window and stole a PlayStation 3, a gold jewel chest, and NCAA 2013 video game.
Stolen Auto: 3400 block of Falls Road, between 11 p.m., Aug 23 and 10:30 a.m., Aug. 24. A white 2003 Audi 84S was stolen.
Larceny from Auto: 3500 block of Chestnut Avenue, between midnight and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21. A laptop and computer bag were stolen from a 1996 Toyota.
Larceny from Auto: 500 block of East Northern Parkway, 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Aug. 21. The window of a 2006 Volvo was smashed and a handicap placard was stolen.
Burglary Residential: 4100 block of Buena Vista Avenue, between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m., Aug. 21. A burglar entered the home through an unlocked front door and stole a 42-inch television and two Sako watches.
Larceny Auto: 1100 block of Weldon Avenue, 11:45 a.m., Aug 20. Oxycodone, Qiazapan, Venlafaxine, Digoxine, and Lansoprazole were stolen from a gray 2010 Nissan Murano.
Larceny from Auto: 600 block of West Northern Parkway, between 10 a.m., Aug. 24. The window of a 2011 Toyota was broken and an iPod and bookbag were stolen.
Attempted Burglary: 500 block of West 28th Street, between 6 p.m., Aug. 21 and 6 a.m., Aug. 22. A burglar tried to pry open the front door.
Stolen Auto: 600 block of Gladstone Avenue, between 6 p.m., Aug. 19 and 10 a.m., Aug. 20. A blue 2006 Vespa was stolen.
Burglary Garage: 200 block of Woodlawn Road, between 7 and 11:30 a.m., Aug. 24. The front door was pried open but nothing was stolen.
Burglary Residential: 700 block of St. John’s Road, between 11 a.m., and 1:45 p.m., Aug. 24. The rear door was pried open and various pieces of jewelry were stolen.
Commercial Burglary: 5700 block of York Road, between 11:45 p.m., Aug. 22 and 10:30 a.m., Aug. 23. A burglar busted the glass of the rear door and stole five checks from Toss Pizza’s office.
Burglary Garage: 800 block of West University Parkway, between 11 p.m., Aug. 23 and 5:15 a.m., Aug. 24. A burglar forced open a garage door and stole four bikes, two helmets and two U-Locks.
Larceny from Auto: 600 block of West 34th Street, between 11:30 p.m., Aug. 23 and 8:30 a.m., Aug. 24. A drill kit was stolen from a 2003 Dodge.
