Woman Who Died After Darnestown House Fire Identified, Police Say
Police have identified the woman who died from injuries sustained in a house fire Sunday in Darnestown.

DARNESTOWN, MD — Authorities have identified the woman who died from injuries sustained in a house fire Sunday in Darnestown.
The blaze was reported around 7:15 p.m. at 15001 Darnestown Rd., just north of Md. 118.
Montgomery County police said Judith Marion, 72, was rescued from the home and rushed to a hospital, where she later died.

Six dogs were also found inside the burning home, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services. Two of them died.
A death investigation is being conducted by county police and fire officials. No foul play is suspected, according to authorities.
