Chapelgate Community Walk Set for Saturday
Anne Arundel County Police Chief Kevin Davis will lead a walk through the neighborhood in an effort to address quality of life issues.
A month after someone fired shots through a home in Chapelgate, residents of the community will walk with local police in an effort to address quality of life issues.
Anne Arundel County Police Chief Kevin Davis will lead the community walk Saturday at 1 p.m., and will seek feedback on trouble areas in the neighborhood. Other police participants will include the acting captain and the executive officer for Western District, as well as a detective.
The idea for the community walk came last month after a community meeting with police. They gathered following an incident where shots were fired at a home, breaking a window and injuring a young child.
The community walk will start at the corner of Chapelgate Drive and Greyswood Road.
