New Flight From BWI To Bustling Midwest City Has Fares Under $50
There's a new flight from BWI Airport to a major Midwest city. Fares are available for under $50 if you act fast.

LINTHICUM, MD — Frontier Airlines on Tuesday announced new nonstop flights between Baltimore and Chicago. To celebrate, the budget carrier is offering fares as low as $49 one way.
The service starts July 7 and runs three times per week between Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD).
The budget carrier also announced a new nonstop route between Myrtle Beach International Airport in South Carolina (MYR) and Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey (TTN). Those flights debut on July 10 and operate twice weekly.

“From the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic, and down the Eastern Coast, we are thrilled to announce these new routes as we continue our mission to offer our ultra-low fares to more travelers in more destinations,” Frontier Vice President of Network and Operations Design Josh Flyr said in a press release. “We can’t wait for more consumers this summer to experience The New Frontier, proving that affordable air travel can also offer unmatched comfort and convenience.”
To get a discounted introductory fare, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on May 12. The sale is only valid for nonstop travel on select days of the week from July 7 through Aug. 18.

Frontier Airlines is revamping to offer more luxury and customization options, ushering in ‘The New Frontier.’ Among the enhancements is UpFront Plus seating, an upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers in UpFront Plus get a window or aisle seat with a guaranteed empty middle seat.
In the coming months, the airline will introduce free, unlimited companion travel for its most loyal customers. Debuting in late 2025, Frontier will also begin offering first-class seating on every flight, bringing a spacious option to the low-cost airline.
