Get Free Chicken Before Nando's Grand Opening
Nando's Peri-Peri will open Dec. 19 at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, and residents can reserve spots to try out the food in advance.
Nando's Peri-Peri chicken restaurant is scheduled to open on Dec. 19 at the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, and is offering area residents a chance to test out the food in advance for free.
Diners can reserve spots during "mock services" on Dec. 17 and 18 and pay nothing for their meal, the restaurant said in a press release.
To make a reservation, diners must email Nandos@Mackenzie-pr.com. Reservations are available Monday, Dec. 17 from noon to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 18 from noon to 8 p.m.

The 3,500 square-foot restaurant will open full to the public on Dec. 19.
The Portugese-style chicken restaurant is relatively new to the United States, but is expanding in the Washington, DC and Baltimore region. In addition to the Waugh Chapel location, Nando's plans to open spots in downtown Baltimore and in Towson sometime in 2013.
