Little Treasury Jewelers Donate To Charity

From Little Treasury Jewelers: Little Treasury Jewelers, a leading destination for watch collectors, hosted a two day celebration of Longines Watches and the Preakness. Part of the proceeds from Longines watch sales during the event went to Maryland Therapeutic Riding, a non-profit charity that provides equine therapy for children (age 2 and up), adults and wounded veterans with special needs.

This fun, albeit glamourous, event took place at Little Treasury’s store in Gambrills, near The Village at Waugh Chapel. Present were Steve and Linda Hammalian, the owners, store associates and members of Maryland Therapeutic Riding. Maryland Therapeutic Riding had a table at the event. Cathy C. Rosenbaum, the executive director, was present.

The evening started with hors d'oeuvres and mint juleps while guests mixed and mingled. Little Treasury is one of few Maryland Longines dealers. Everyone got to try on various timepieces while associates helped them find the perfect Longines watch for Mother’s Day.

Attendees, who enjoyed nice gift bags, were entered to win VIP tickets to the Preakness when they tried on Longines watches. The drawing for the winner took place Monday, May 15. Chris and Casey Sisulak, a couple from Crofton, were the lucky winners.
