Man Wanted in Robbery of M&T Bank in Severn
Police said the man showed a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anne Arundel County police have released images of a suspect in the robbery of the M&T Bank on Quarterfield Road in Severn.
Police said the robbery happened at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in the bank located inside the Shoppers Food Warehouse.
Police said the suspect approached a teller and handed them a note demanding money, then also displayed the butt of a handgun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money, and police were not able to find him after searching the area.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s, standing about 6 feet tall with a slim to average build. He was wearing gold-rimmed
glasses, a dark skull cap with a gray stripe, a dark and gray windbreaker style jacket, a neon green t-shirt, and dark jeans.
