Marines Move Recruiting Station to Hanover
The Marines are now located on Ashton Road, after exiting their old facility in Elkridge.
The U.S. Marines have moved a recruiting station to Hanover, after deciding against conducting expensive repairs to its old facility in Elkridge.
The Defense Video and Information Distribution System reported that the Marines are now located at 1334 Ashton Road, about a half-mile from Arundel Mills.
“(The building) is in a more predominant area,” said Maj. Christopher S. Connor, the commanding officer of RS Baltimore, told a Marine reporter. “It’s safer to be here for the Marines and for the property.”
