Maryland Live! to Offer Free Poker Dealer Training

Maryland Live! casino is offering free training for interested dealers in its new poker room to open this summer.
Six-week courses will be offered starting June 17 at the casino's dealer school in Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie.
The casino's 14,800-square-foot poker room will include 50 poker tables and is set to open late this summer.

Applications for the dealer school, administered in association with Anne Arundel Community College, will be accepted at the dealer recruitment center in the mall on June 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Applicants must be 21 or older and space in the sessions is limited, according to a release.
Applicants must also pass interviews, assessments and math tests before registering.
