May Open House at the Odenton Heritage Society

Stop by and view the maps provided from the Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks showing trails in the Odenton area

The Odenton Heritage Society's (OHS) open house on Sunday, May 4, will feature a display of maps from Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks showing plans and updates on trails in the Odenton area, including construction of the South Shore Trail, which is underway. These trails follow historic railroad rights-of-way that converged in Odenton. As always, visitors will be able to discover the historic 1912 Old Masonic Hall, home to the Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center and Museum. Explore the rich history of the town of Odenton, from its railroads, homes, and churches to its schools, stores, and recreational activities over the past 154 years. Immerse yourself in displays on the Civil War, military history, and local businesses like Nevamar. Stroll through Odenton’s history through captivating photographs, artifacts, and presentations.

The OHS Historical Center is located at 1367 Odenton Road. We're open from 1PM to 4PM, offering free admission and guided museum tours!
