According to the Odenton Volunteer Fire Co., the property was used as the home of the first official firehouse from 1934 until the end of World War II. 

The seller is listed as Eleanor Pumphrey, a descendant of one of the original officers of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Co.

The property now is home to a home an garages, built in 1950.

According to the property's listing, the house is comprised of 1,336 square feet and sits on about 0.14 acres. It is located in the Odenton historic district. 

It appears that at one point, the property was being marketed along with an adjacent property at 1420 Odenton Rd. However, that property is no longer for sale.
