Police Investigate Shots Fired in Piney Orchard

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a report of shots being fired at the front door of a home in Odenton.

Police said officers responded at 11:30 p.m. Thursday to the 2400 block of Winding Ridge Road. They spoke with a 27-year-old man who said he heard a noise outside and then the sound of glass breaking. The man told police he checked his front door and found five bullet holes. 

The man told police that a suspect may have driven away in a white Chevrolet or GMC work vehicle. Officers searched the area but could not find the suspect. 

Police said they are investigating the incident, but said they do not believe it was random in nature. They did not release any information about the suspect. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Western District police at 410-222-6155.
