Severn Man Sentenced to Two Years in Death of Friend
Anthony James Garcia was found guilty of manslaughter in the December death of David Harley.

A man last month of manslaughter in the death of a friend has been sentenced to two years in jail.
The Baltimore Sun reports that judge handed down 10-year sentence against Anthony James Garcia, with eight years suspended. He was found guilty in the December death of David Harley, who succumbed to injuries following an altercation in a Severn mobile home park.
Garcia had claimed self-defense, but the judge said he could have stopped the fight before the mortal injuries took place.
Garcia has also been ordered to pay more than $3,600 toward Harley's funeral expenses.
