New Flight From BWI Airport To Caribbean Beach Town Announced
A new flight is coming to BWI Airport. Grab your bathing suit because this nonstop route takes Marylanders to a sunny Caribbean beach town.

LINTHICUM, MD — Spirit Airlines on Thursday announced a new, nonstop flight from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Starting this spring, Spirit travelers can fly from BWI Airport to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic.
The Caribbean beach town is known for its white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, all-inclusive resorts and high-end golf courses.

The flight will run four times per week beginning March 20. That will bring Spirit to 13 nonstop flights from BWI Airport.
“We’re all about getting our Guests to the places they want to go most, and soon Baltimore travelers will have an easy and affordable way to escape to a new Caribbean destination,” John Kirby, Spirit's vice president of network planning, said in a press release. “Our new, nonstop flight to Punta Cana is a great addition to our Baltimore route map and helps our Guests enjoy our elevated Guest experience on their journey to their beach vacation.”
